Day Education Centre
Educational Equipment:
All students must arrive with a bag and pencil case containing the following items:
• Blue/black pen
• Red pen
• Pencil & sharpener
• Ruler
• Scientific calculator
• Protractor & compass
• Three notebooks (one each for Maths, English, and Science)
All items should be clearly labelled.
Students are fully responsible for their belongings.

Medical Emergency and First Aid
Staff may administer basic first aid and contact emergency services if required.
• All relevantmedical information must be disclosed in the enrolment form.
• Personal Property and Loss
• The organisers arenot responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged property, including phones, money, or clothing.
• Students are strongly advised not to bring unnecessary or high-value items.Facility Use and Behaviour
• Students will be taught properetiquette and hygiene for using facilities.
• Misuse of premises, vandalism, or inappropriate behaviour may result in disciplinary action.
• Respect for the premises, staff, and peers is always expected.Attendance and Conduct
• Full attendance is expected. No refunds will be issued for missed days or early withdrawal.
• Serious or repeated misconduct may result in suspension or removal from the programmewithout refund.
• Parents will be informed of any behavioural issues requiring intervention.Behaviour Policy

• Serious misbehaviour includes:

Holiday Term Policy
• Day Education Centre isnot a school. We provide a comprehensive homeschooling programme.
• Parents wishing to pause academic studies mustcancel membership before the next academic month begins.
• The Centre operates year-round, except forEid ul-Adha and Eid ul-Fitr.
• Our academic model covers an entire syllabus (which schools usually take 1–2 years) in12–14 weeks, including exam practice 3–4 timesyearly.
• Students will therefore always have opportunities to cover any missed content.Academic Assessment & Grades
• Maths2English Academy will conducthalf-term and end-of-term exams.
• These will give parents an accurate guide to their child’s current grade.
• We will support parents in arrangingprivate GCSE examinations, but the Centre doesnot cover exam fees.Safeguarding and Well-BeingAll staff areDBS-checked and trained in safeguarding.
• We are committed to asafe, respectful, and inclusive environment.
• Safeguarding concerns will be addressed in line with legal and ethical obligations.
• Academic Attire
• Students must wearloose, modest clothing appropriate for learning.
• Attire must respect theIslamic ethos of the Centre.

Martial Arts Disclaimer
• Martial arts are part of the programme and involvephysical contact.
• While safety procedures are followed, participation carries inherent risks of injury (e.g., bruises, sprains, strains).
• By enrolling, parents consent to participation and acknowledge that the organisers and staff are not liable for injuries occurring under safeand supervised conditions. Equipment, Uniform and Dress CodeEach child must bring (available for purchase at Blackbeard Academy reception):
• Boxing gloves
• Shin pads
• Black joggers
• Blackbeard T-shirt

Consent and Acknowledgement

By signing this agreement, I confirm that:

• I have read and understood all terms and conditions.
• I accept full responsibility for my child’s participation.
• I acknowledge the risks involved in martial arts training.
• My child will arrive with all required clothing, equipment, and supplies.
• I support the programme’s values ofdiscipline, respect, and accountability.
• I release Blackbeard Academy, Maths2English Academy, and staff from liability for injury, loss, or damage, except in cases of provennegligence.

This membership bills every month. The first payment is due on the membership's start date. This membership entitles the purchaser to a full or partial discount on events/classes offered by the business. Some classes/events may be excluded from this membership. Unless otherwise noted, this membership is non-transferable. Your payment details will be securely stored in our system for the duration of the membership.
