The Reformer Studio Terms & Conditions
Initial Taster sessions are currently £10. Taster sessions are limited to one per client. Prior to attending your first session clients must have set up a profile on TeamUp before being able to book into a session. Taster sessions can only be booked in Level 1/2 sessions (see current timetable).
After the taster session Reformer Sessions are sold in blocks of 10. These blocks are valid for a period of 4 months from payment. If you plan to be absent for more than 2 weeks during this period please contact us via email on erreformers@gmail.com at the time of booking and we will arrange an extension for the period of your absence.
Once you have purchased a block we recommend that you book your sessions in as soon as possible in order to reserve the slots you want. We also recommend that, in order to preserve a preferred slot, you buy your next block 3-4 weeks before the current block runs out.
Any session you cannot make should be cancelled a minimum of 24 hours in advance through your ERReformers TeamUp account otherwise the session will be considered taken. Cancellation should take place through the ERReformer TeamUp site and not be communicated via your instructor or by text/email/verbally.
In the unusual event that it is necessary for us to cancel a session due to instructor absence a session credit will be returned to your profile and you will be notified. Session cancellations for Bank Holidays and instructor holidays will be made in at least one month advance and again the session will be credited back to your TeamUp profile for you to rebook.
Notifications are made via email and we recommend that you check your emails prior to attendance.
Sessions last 45 minutes. Please arrive at least 5 minutes early for your session. Late arrivals for a taster session who have missed the allotted time for an introduction to the equipment (before the advertised start time of the session) will not be permitted to join in for health & safety reasons but can stay and observe the session. After the first session late arrivals who have missed the warm-up will not be permitted to join in for health & safety reasons.
Refunds are not available.
Clothing:
So that the instructor can see your body position clothing should be form-fitting. NB this does not necessarily mean ‘skin tight’.
To reduce the risk of damage to the equipment clothing should be free from sharp objects (zips, studs, etc.)
To reduce the risk of injury long hair must be tied back. Any dangling jewellery should be removed prior to participation.
Shoes are not required but socks (ideally grip socks) are. All socks should be snug fitting.
Safety:
Reformer training is not without risk. On your first session your instructor will carry out an induction into the safe use of equipment and ask you to sign an induction checklist.
After that point your instructor will continue to reinforce the safe use of the equipment. For your own safety and that of others please do not start to exercise without first ensuring that there are springs on your machine.
In the interestes of health & safety please wait for instruction before starting an exercise and continue in a slow and controlled manner. Please do not move on unless instructed to do so. Please listen carefully for adaptations and alternatives which may be relevant to you. Unsafe use of the equipment could result in injury to yourself or damage to the equipment.
