Beginners Pole - DAYTIME: Starting Mon 8th September (STEVENAGE)

Beginners 4-Week Pole Course

This course is perfect for beginners!

Over 4 weeks, you'll learn the foundations of pole, including spins, tricks, poses, transitions, and floor work. Each class runs for 1 hour, with a maximum of 2 students per pole, ensuring plenty of time to practice.

Who Can Join?

- You must be 18+ to attend GDPU2 Pole classes.

- You should be generally fit with no medical conditions that could prevent you from participating.

- Unfortunately, this class isn’t suitable if you’re pregnant or trying to conceive. If you’ve given birth in the past 6 months, you’ll need GP clearance before joining.

Important Info

✅ Check your booking details carefully (time, date, and location).
✅ Arrive on time! If you miss the warm-up, you won’t be able to join the class for safety reasons. Plan ahead to find the studio.
✅ Pole fitness can cause bruising—it’s part of the learning process! However, listen to your body and never push through pain.

What to Wear

✔️ Form-fitting clothes (avoid baggy layers).
✔️ Shorts are best, but cycling shorts or joggers that can be rolled up work too.
❌ No jewellery (including wedding rings, watches, or bracelets—no exceptions!).
❌ No moisturiser or lotion on the day of class (it makes gripping the pole harder).
✔️ Bare feet or socks are fine, but be aware the floor can be slippery.

Arriving at Class

🚫 Don’t be late! If you miss the warm-up, you won’t be able to join.
Arrive no more than 5 minutes before class.
