Women's Only Parkour Block

A course of introductory classes for women looking to try parkour. These classes will cover some of parkour's foundational techniques like jumping, vaulting, swinging, climbing and balancing in a safe and supportive environment. They will be taught by Access Parkour's qualified and experienced female coaches. This course is open to all levels of parkour experience, but will be tailored towards beginners. If you have any questions or wish to discuss accessibility requirements, please email nina@accessparkour.com.

Drop-in bookings for each week are £15 per class, or you can book the whole course for £60.

Please note, this block requires a minimum of 5 participants to run. In the unlikely event that there are not enough sign-ups, all payments will be refunded in full.

Accessibility and transport info:

The water side cycle path and walkway is smooth and level but the surrounding terrain is rough with some uneven paving, steps and kerbs.

There are public bathrooms at the main Pitt space next door.

No catering is provided for the session, although there will be plenty of food and drink stalls open next door at the main Pitt space.

We do not have access to audio loops or a BSL interpreter.

During the workshop we will be using uneven terrain, including steps, kerbs, walls and railings to learn different kinds of movements.

Meeting point: The Pitt Market, promenade/water side, 20 W Shore Rd, Granton, Edinburgh EH5 1QD: https://maps.app.goo.gl/kv4MjMQdCGV19MG99

There are plenty of bike racks at the Pitt and the nearest bus stops are Waterfront Avenue and Waterfront Broadway, which are about 10 minutes walk away. There is some on street parking on West Shore Road itself, but this can get busy.

Trans women welcome always.
