Special Event: 8km Walk and Zero-waste cafe talk

A gorgeous 8km Chantries and St Martha’s Woodland walk followed by a visit & talk at the Zero-Waste Solar Sisters Cafe in Guildford.

A 5mile woodland walk along the North Downs Way exploring the ancient forests of Chantries and St Martha’s hill-side trails (not over the top). Circling back via Tytings farm and fabulous views of Pewley Downs, we make our way to the top of Guildford town to meet Nina and Lucy at the Solar Sisters Café/shop. Whilst enjoying a cup of tea, green juice or snack, the sisters will share their experience of living plastic-free and less wasteful lives privately and as a business.  These sisters are very knowledgable and we hope they inspire many to follow Back on Track on their Plastic-free pledge.

This event is FREE but donations are very much appreciated.
We have agreed to accept donations to Back on Tracks’ chosen charities, Treesisters or National Trail to continue the important work to protect nature and forests locally and worldwide. A suggested donation of £4 allows the Treesisters to plant 10 trees or £5 for the maintenance of the North Downs Way/National Trail. Thank you

or you may choose to park in Guildford town centre if you prefer to have your car closer to the café (suggest York Rd Car Park, GPS What3words). The café is at 86 North St, Guildford GU1 4AU.
