In mid-October 2025 experienced adult swim coach Dan Abel will be running a “Coaching the Coaches" course at The RealSwim Centre, Kaiapoi.

WHO IS IT FOR: One of the best ways to consolidate your swim learning is to be able to explain what you are doing…clearly, concisely and confidently. If you can do that, you can be confident of applying the material correctly in your own swimming. This is a course for teachers and students alike who have an interest in taking their learning to the next level and who want to understand how we take our years of coaching experience and create a swim ‘recipe’ that is clear, concise and easy to follow. 

We’ll step you through our ‘recipe’ and share what we’ve learned in our coaching career.

WHAT: both theory and practical. You’ll be expected to learn our process and we’ll show you ways to deliver it, then you’ll practice delivering it, with feedback and learning provided throughout.

The RealSwim Centre is FitandAbel’s unique HQ and swimming base. This purpose built, state of the art pool complex is the best place for learning and coaching in a stress-free environment, free from distraction, complete with a classroom for theory sessions.
