If you are interested in developing your swimming fitness in a fun, supportive environment then join us for a four day intensive swimming camp, 7 - 10 January 2021.

This camp is open to all swimmers; whether you are looking to get a last solid training weekend in before Epic Taupo/Ruby/BananaBoat Swims your next marathon swim. Or if you are simply looking to challenge yourself with a solid, focused weekend of training and swimming knowledge with an expert safety team which includes 2 experienced open water swimming coaches, Chloe and Dan.

The clinics will focus on technique and dryland exercises to support your long term swim aspirations.

An important part of long distance swim training is ensuring your training follows a nice progression eg; a steady increase in training volumes and/or intensity. Long distance requires consistency and commitment to training and excellent nutrition. All of which greatly reduces the risk of injury and vastly increases your chances of success. We recommend in the lead up to this camp that you are training a minimum of 3 times a week and building this to 4 times a week 8 weeks prior to the start date.

The swims will run out of four different locations, three outdoor, one indoor all located within easy driving distance of Christchurch. Lots of swim variety, lots of experience and fun.

The camp will start at 4pm Thursday and run until 4pm Sunday.

Minimum of 10 swimmers must be booked for this camp to proceed.

Total Cost: $450NZD per person for the four days. Once you secure your spot with your $100 non refundable deposit, we will send you an invoice with your final payment details due 1 month prior to camp.
