ARTISTIC BICYCLE with Kathrin Igel

Artistic bicycle is a form of competitive indoor cycling in which athletes perform tricks on specialized, fixed-gear bikes in a format similar to ballet or gymnastics. This two hour workshop is geared towards beginning and intermediate students. Artistic bicycles will be provided. This discipline is very popular in the circus arts. 

PREREQUISITES : 

Must be able to ride a bicycle. Wrestling shoes, or flexible tumbling shoes with support, are recommended but not required.

ABOUT MS. IGEL :

Kathrin Igel is a renowned RKB national coach in artistic cycling. As an A-trainer and sports and business coach, she has years of experience in training top athletes and has accompanied numerous world and European champions on their way. She has also taught artistic cycling to Cirque du Soleil artists around the world. For many years she has also been passionately involved in the training of coaches.
