"Flexibility Diagnostics" with Jen Crane

This course has been cancelled
Your body- and your flexibility barriers- are unique to YOU. There are many different structures that can limit flexibility progress, and muscles are only ONE of them. In this series, you’ll learn:
- which structures can potentially limit your flexibility training
- how to OBJECTIVELY test for them
- how to measure progress for each of these components of flexibility
- specific exercises and drills to target each structure limiting your flexibility

In addition to “diagnosing and treating” your flexibility barriers, you will also learn to accurately interpret what different sensations during stretching mean, and how to adjust your programming to ensure you’re affecting the desired structures for each stretch and drill.

There are three parts in this series, with each class lasting two hours:

Part 1: Pike
Part 2: Hip Extension
Part 3: Straddle

Students must commit to the entire series, as each class builds off concepts introduced in the prior course. This series is approximately 50% conceptual, and 50% active/lab-based, so students interested in this series should have a strong desire to learn anatomy and biomechanics as related to performing arts. There are no prerequisite anatomy/biomechanics requirements.

Jen is hosting 2 workshops. If you purchase both "Save Your Shoulders" and "Flexibility Diagnostics" simultaneously, you will receive $10 off, please give us a call for the pricing adjustment. 619 - 487 - 1239
