Our YDP classes are a scholarship program subsidised by Simia Circus / Simia Circus School CIC to provide opportunities for students with a keen interest and/or ability in circus disciplines. YDP memberships are also compatible with regular recreational level classes, so if you are unable to attend your usual class and would like to try a new discipline, you can re-book. In addition, if you wish to attend a YDP class and a recreational level class each week, you will require the equivalent YDP membership.
Once you have purchased your membership, make sure you set up a reservation! This will reserve your place in your favourite class each week, guaranteeing your place if the class should fill up, and removing the need for you to book in manually each week. It also means you will receive notification should the class be unexpectedly delayed or cancelled, and credits can be issued to your membership where necessary. If you need help creating a reservation, please let us know.
If you cannot attend your usual class, make sure you sign out with 24hrs notice and you'll receive your credit back to use on a other compatible class that week.
Credit Refunds
In circumstances where a class is cancelled, a credit refund will be issued to your account. You can use that account credit to reduce the cost of booking another class at the PAYG rate, or it will remain on your account and be deducted from your next membership payment.
Simia will be closed for a week in September and a week over Christmas. No credit refunds will be issued for these two weeks, as memberships are paid for on the basis of four classes per month, and there are times throughout the year where there are five classes per month.
Cancellation of Membership
You may cancel your membership from your TeamUp account at any time. Your membership will continue to provide you with discounted access to classes until the end of your paid for month. Refunds will not be issued should you decide not to attend classes during this time.
Memberships are monthly direct debits, payment will come out on the date of initial purchase each month.

Terms and conditionsThis membership bills every month. The first payment is due on the membership's start date. This membership entitles the purchaser to a full or partial discount on events/classes offered by the business. Some classes/events may be excluded from this membership. Unless otherwise noted, this membership is non-transferable. Your payment details will be securely stored in our system for the duration of the membership.
