The class is suitable for improvers only. Students must be comfortable in hip key and catcher positions from a climb, French and Russian climb, Be comfortable with Inversions from a climb and Foot-lock technique from a climb.
This programme aims to continue to develop the students strength and essential key skills for Aerial Silks with fluency and control. Further dynamic transitions plus new movements and techniques will be introduced including choreographic sequences.
There will also be continued focus on strength and conditioning exercises to develop the physical preparation required for this beautiful yet demanding art form.
At the end of the term you will have strengthened your basic skills and technique on aerial silks along with a variety of floor exercises to develop the strength for further progression. We will also demonstrate the importance of safe aerial practice.
