Circus Factory are delighted to bring the much sought-after talents of Aerialist, Emmen Donnelly to Cork for a bespoke training residency, Unlock, Explore, Create this August and September 2022
Emmen Is a credited and respected member of the Irish/Northern Irish Aerial and Circus Community. In their performance career, Emmens work expresses an analytical curiosity & creative sense of whimsy applied with a refreshing stroke of traditional dynamic technique. Always seeking to push the boundaries of Aerial Acrobatics further with a unique blend of physical discipline layered over rich narratives, Emmen cuts an impressive physical presence on stage, and is highly respected for the use of their technical and personable creative skills.
This opportunity is open to aerial artists at all stages of their practice and who are ready to engage in a deeper creative approach to their training and performance. The participants will ideally by available for all 3 residencies which will culminate in an opportunity to present work at a showcase evening for Circus Factory’s highlight of the year, Pitch’d Circus and Street Arts Festival in September 2022.

We are currently only taking registration for the full residency (all 3 blocks) however if you are interested in doing only 1 or 2 intensive blocks please email Louisa at contact@circusfactorycork.com and we will keep your name on a waiting list should individual spaces remain available with notifications going out no less than 2 weeks before each individual intensive.

Dates: August - Saturday 6th, Sunday 7th
Times: 9.30am - 4.30pm

Dates: August - Saturday 13th, Sunday 14th
Times: 9.30am - 4.30pm
Individual cost if available: €200
Intensive 3 - Create
Dates: September - Tuesday 13th, Wednesday 14th, Thursday 15th
Times: 9.30am - 4.30pm

Pitch’d Circus and Street Arts Showcase Evening
Date: Saturday 17th September (with Tech rehearsal on Friday 16th September)
Times: From 6pm

Equipment
Circus Factory has multiple numbers of Aerial Silks, Aerial Hoop and Trapeze which participants are welcome to use however you are also welcome to bring your own preferred equipment.
Please leave all valuables and jewellery at home. Jewellery can damage equipment and can become damaged or cause injury due to the nature of aerial practice and apparatus.
Unfortunately Circus Factory cannot be responsible for, or hold onto lost property for any duration of time.
Contactless Paperwork
- All first time user forms (Circus Factory Waiver, Medical History, Emergency Contacts) are required to be filled out online through our new booking system (we have integrated with GoTeamUp booking software) before booking a class. You will be led through these forms after selecting to purchase a class.
Covid Symptom Checks
- If you are experiencing Covid symptoms or are isolating from testing positive for Covid-19 please do not attend class.

Cancellation Policy
This registration carries a 3 week cancellation policy before the first date of the intensive trainings.
This is required due to people on waiting lists and to ensure we can meet our financial commitments to our venue, administration and facilitators.
All cancellations up to 21 days before your intensive starts will be fully reimbursed either back to your payment source or can be applied as value of the course as account credit on your GoTeamUp Account to use at Circus Factory at a different time.
To cancel from a course you must email contact@circusfactorycork.com and we can cancel from the administration side.
Late Cancellations
Should you need to unregister less than 21 days before the course starts or individual sessions booked (if available) unfortunately we cannot guarantee a refund for your place. However should there be a waiting list and we are able to fill the place then we can reimburse you.
Waiting Lists
Should the training be full and you would like to join a waiting list please email contact@circusfactorycork.com with your request
In the event that Circus Factory requires to cancel a class at any time, all registered users will be fully reimbursed.
