Aerial for Youth: Ages 10+
Suitable for Ages 10 +years old

Times 4.30pm - 5.45pm
Duration: 10 week term

Currently open for full term bookings only. Should places remain available closer to and / or after term has started single sessions registrations will be made available at a price of 16.00 per single session registration.
Class size: Class size is set at 6 as we have 6 individual aerial points. However should two or more students sign up from the same household or pre-existing group they will be permitted to share a silk and we can increase the class size to a maximum of 12 (with 2 tutors present)
We are delighted to see the return of our popular aerial for youth classes at Circus Factory. In this class kids and young people will have the opportunity to explore trapeze, aerial hoop, silks and aerial cocoon. Each participant or pod will be assigned their own apparatus, spaces are limited and booking is essential!
Extra exciting is that we will have the opportunity to show off our skills in a youth cabaret at end of the term so there will lots of creative fun and opportunity to get involved in all aspects of creating a show! - The show may take the format of a digital production however this will become clearer as the term progresses and what's feels the best fit for our students and with any restrictions that might still apply to indoor events.
What to bring and wear
We ask all users to limit what personal belongings they bring into the space however there are a few things you might need:
- Your own water bottle / hydration
- Clean socks - no outdoor trainers allowed on the mats.
- Personal Face Mask (if your child wishes to wear one when working in close proximity with the tutor)
Please leave all valuables and jewellery at home. Unfortunately Circus Factory cannot be responsible for, or hold onto lost property for any duration of time.
Physical Distancing
- Aerial equipment will be limited to one person/pod (or a number of students from the same household/established close contact pod eg. siblings).
- Aerial Equipment will be quarantined for 24 hours between uses.
- Ground equipment will be cleaned between participants.
- Hands will be sanitized before going on equipment and after coming off equipment.
- Tutors will wear masks when spotting and sanitize their hands between students.
- We have spaced out classes and member training time slots to limit crossover of physical contacts and to allow for full sanitisation of equipment in between time slots.
- We ask parents not to congregate outside the building and not to enter the building when dropping children off.
- Please ensure your child arrives ready for class with their water bottle clearly labeled.
- Any shared activity / equipment will be at the discretion of the parent's choice for the child to take part. If there is any activity that a parent does not want their child to take part in for reasons of shared equipment or breaking physical distancing of 2 metres they can advise the tutors of this, whom can then offer alternative activities that can be practiced safely.
Contactless Paperwork
- All first time user forms (Waiver, Medical History, Emergency Contacts) are required to be filled out online through our new booking system (we have integrated with TeamUp booking software) before booking a class.You will be led through these forms after selecting to purchase a class.
Covid Symptom Checks
- If you, your child or anyone you have been in close personal contact, have shown any amount of symptoms of Covid-19 in the past 14 days
and / or
- If you, your child, or anyone you are in close personal contact with, are required to quarantine after international travel / arriving into Rep Ireland
You child MUST NOT attend a class.
According to the Irish Health Service Executive (HSE), below are symptoms of the novel Coronavirus C19:
> Cough
> Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
> Fever
> Chills
> Repeated shaking with chills
> Muscle pain
> Headache
> Sore throat
> New loss of taste or smell
If you feel you or your child have been at risk of exposure to the Covid-19 virus after booking the class, please contact us at bookingcircusfactory@gmail.com to unregister your place.
Cancellation Policy
Aerial for Youth carries a 5 day cancellation policy upon first start date of full course or individual session booked (if available).
This is required due to people on waiting lists and to ensure we can meet our financial commitments to our venue, administration and facilitators.
- All cancellations up to 5 days before class starts will be fully reimbursed to your GoTeamUp account. To cancel from a course you must contact bookingcircusfactory@gmail.com and we can cancel from the administration side.
Unfortunately Circus Factory cannot offer cash refunds.
Late Cancellations
Should you unregister from your training less than 5 days before the course starts or individual sessions booked (if available) unfortunately we cannot reimburse your account. However in the event that a person on the wait list avails of your cancelled place and registers we can reimburse your GoTeamUp account credit.
>In the event that Circus Factory requires to cancel a class at any time, all registered users will be fully reimbursed.
