The Inclusive Rehearsal Room: An Introduction

Join Extraordinary Bodies, the UK’s leading integrated circus company, for a 2-hour introductory workshop distilling over 12 years of experience in creating accessible performances and delivering inclusive community practice.
Bringing together learning from The Inclusive Rehearsal Room and The Circus Trainer’s Toolkit, this session is
designed for theatre and dance practitioners, circus trainers, and anyone interested in building more equitable, welcoming creative spaces.
This practical session introduces the core principles and approaches that underpin Extraordinary Bodies’ work, offering tools you can immediately apply in your rehearsal room, studio, or training environment.
Who is this workshop for?
Targeted at movement artists like theatre and dance practitioners, circus trainers, and any movement artists interested in building more equitable, welcoming creative spaces.
Are there any prerequisites to attend?
Have a movement-based practice.
