Join Rachel in this dynamic flowing practice where she will guide you through a variety of postures adapted from the Ashtanga primary series sequence. Expect a faster paced flow of postures including sun salutations to start, followed by a flow of standing and seated postures, then finishing with a few postures lying down before heading to final relaxation (Savasana). Within the class there will be options for varying levels of ability or energy levels, so everyone is welcome.

You will need: A yoga mat if you have one or a floor where you can exercise without slipping. Ashtanga is a practice that can be done without props but if you know your body and enjoy using props, or if you aren't sure, you can bring some along. Yoga blocks might be useful, or perhaps improvise with a large book or two. A yoga strap, a belt, dressing gown cord, or a rolled up t-shirt or towel might also be helpful.

If you are on a computer or laptop, you do not need a zoom account, just follow the link when you book. If you are using your phone you will need to download zoom (for free!)

Please log in a few minutes before the class is due to start. If you have any injuries or conditions you need to inform the instructor of, or if you just fancy a quick chat, you can join the meeting up to 10 minutes before the start of class. You can either talk onscreen or send a private message, whichever you prefer.

Please note, the sessions will be recorded, the recordings will be of the instructor view only and will be used for those who have booked onto the class and cannot make the class time. The recording will be accessible until the end of the following day.
