Mums and Bubs Pilates

MUMS and BUBS is a 6 weeks course run during the school term. The next course starts:- Monday 26th April 11:15 am

Pilates is a great way to strengthen and realign your body after having a baby. We focus on engaging and strengthening your pelvic floor and deep abdominals (yes they are still there after Bub!) and work on your posture. Enjoy this special time to nurture yourself and connect with your baby. Bub can be incorporated in many of the exercises (they make great little weights) or perhaps they are happier to sleep through the class - bonus! There is NO expectation for your baby to behave in a certain way. Please ensure:- * You have had your 6 weeks check (IF delivery) or have been signed off after a C section * Diastasis Recti Check - Abdominal separation can not be larger than 2 cm (you can do more harm than good if you have a severe separation and work out too soon) * Bub not crawling yet (6 weeks to 6 months is normally the right age) Book in a term or two with your mother's group. Join and connect with other local like-minded mums in a supportive, safe and nurturing environment. Limit of 7 spots per course.
