Learn to Headstand
Headstand has so many benefits to the body and mind, in this 2-hour workshop you will cultivate strength and balance, and learn a step-by-step movement progression, so that you can feel safe and supported to lift off in a controlled way, supported by a wall, a spotter or independently.
We will start with a meditation, followed by a strengthening practice targeting the upper body muscles, especially shoulders and core to get the body warm and open. We will then break down the pose and have plenty of time to play.
You will go home with an understanding on how to enter and exit the pose, knowing drills for getting the body prepared, conquering fear, and believing you can do it.
