T'ai Chi with Sarah (six week course)


The Chinese Art of Tai chi has long been understood to promote well being in Mind and Body. It is renowned for improving balance, coordination and flexibility, and easing emotional and mental tension. First practiced and developed as a Martial Art , it has been taught in the West mainly for the health benefits. This six week introduction course aims to introduce you to the art, help you begin to learn habits for good posture, and hopefully be the start of a wonderful new practice!

Your teacher Sarah Bartlett has been studying Tai Chi and Qigong for over thirty years. She trained as a close family student of Tai Chi Grandmaster Dr Shen Hongxun for over sixteen years until his death in 2011 as well as working with many other great teachers... She has worked with various organizations including ~Bristol Mind, Social Anxiety West, St Johns hospital, Bath, Bristol Parkinson's/Parkinson's Uk, Bath Carers association, Drug and Alcohol rehab(Barleywood House), The MS therapy Centre and many others.  She has run her own private practice for the past twenty one years, offering weekly classes, weekend courses, retreats and one to one therapy
