'Running Up That Hill': Sexy Pole Choreo Workshop
Deepen your dance magic! Join Arlene for this one-off workshop to learn some flowy sexy Old School pole dance choreography in her signature 'sad showgirl' style, inspired by Kate Bush! We'll be dancing to 'Running Up That Hill'. Love the song? Come dance with us!
What you can expect:
You will learn a smooth sequence of moody low flow and basework, broken down into sections, including some of Arlene's signature moves. There will be attention to making your legs look a million miles long, dramatic softness, moving with intention, embodying your authentic sexy self, and getting the most out of your heels.
We will dance to 'Running Up That Hill' by Kate Bush, and you can expect a playlist full of similar dream-pop and shoegaze bangers!
Different variations of movements will be given to challenge you at your appropriate level, so advanced students and beginners are welcome, and everything in between; Arlene has the experience to meet you where you're at.
You can rock up to this workshop in full sparkly regalia or you can show up in a hoodie; no judgment for how you’re dressed. Though, dressing up in 80's dream-pop fashion is highly encouraged! Think loads of eyeliner, pink lipstick, big hair!
Level:Some experience of pole dance is required to get the most out of this workshop, Arlene recommends that you can already do the basics and do them well. The choreography also includes basic floorwork: there will be a backwards shoulder roll. This workshop is therefore NOT suitable for first-timers, please complete our 'Introduction to Pole Dance' course before taking this workshop.

Your pole shorts
Leg warmers / knee padsAll students understand that they are required to bring the following:• A towel for cleaning the pole• A yoga mat for the warm up (if you need one)All students understand that:• If you are more than 10 minutes early you will not be admitted to the building• If you are late you will not be admitted (sorry!)
