DEKA Inspired Ultra - Individual Wave
Dust2Glory Fitness presents the 3rd annual DEKA-inspired DEKA "Ultra"! It consists of the 10 zones of DEKA with 1000m of running before each zone. Repeating this sequence 5 times in succession tallies 50K meters (30 Miles) of running for the Ultra distance.
Limited to 40 individual runners.
Runners will be sent off in waves of 5 every 5 minutes beginning at 6:30 am.
There will be a 12-hour time limit. It is recommended competitors bring a pit crew to assist in counting their DEKA zone reps.
Ultra Medal - Complete a minimum of 3 laps.
Ultra Buckle - Complete all 5 laps within the time cap.
The basic layout is as follows:
A 1000m run preceding the following exercise stations, totaling 50K.
1. RAM Alternating Reverse Lunge (X30)
2. Row (500M)
3. Box Jump or Step-up Overs (X20)
4. Med Ball Sit-Up (X25)
5. Ski Erg (500M)
6. Farmer’s Carry (100M)
7. Air Bike (25cal)
8. Dead Ball Shoulder Overs (X20)
9. Tank Sled Push/Pull (10m each x 5)
10. RAM Burpee (X20)
