Online Beginner/Intermediate mat class

An introduction to Pilates and the basic moves to get you moving correctly from your core.

This is a more gentle class to start you moving through your day. But don't be fooled - a beginner class will challenge you, you'll get those abs working hard and will strengthen your core muscles. You will carry on your day feeling energised and strong!

After just a few sessions you'll start to feel stronger and will enjoy the increased range of movement in your body and you'll start looking and feeling so much better. As you become more familiar with the order you can take each exercise and get better every time you do it.

Great you're booked in and joining us online for a mat or circle session with Pilates Works - we're excited to be able to work with you via Zoom during lockdown and beyond.

Before class please can you set up your camera so I can see you when lying down on the mat but have the camera/device angled so your neck doesn't strain to see the screen. You may want a small face towel rolled up, a head block/book/small cushion for your head, a mat or large towel, wifi and zoom!

I will demonstrate most moves on screen and will then help to guide you and correct where needed.

If you're new to class please can you make me aware of any major injury/surgery beforehand.
