Postnatal Pilates in Sunflower Centre

After birth, your body continues to change and it’s a crucial time for your body to recover from pregnancy and birth. While you may be keen to start exercising immediately, it’s important to wait at least 6 weeks before joining a class.

Postnatal Pilates can help you to:
Improve your posture
Restore you pelvic floor and abdominal muscles and learn how to exercise safely
Release tension while improving stability and strength
Recover from Diastasis Recti or prolapses (if any)
Gain a deeper understanding of your postnatal body

Babies are welcome to join in the class with you. The class is also a great place to meet another new mums in the area.

You can join the Postnatal class from 6 weeks postpartum, 10 weeks from caesarean and 12 weeks from emergency caesarean.
