Yoga for Wellness Day Retreat -Saturday 26th January 2019

This is a full day yoga retreat and is a mix of practising the physical postures in yoga, as well as breathing, meditation and deep relaxation techniques, and an opportunity to go a little deeper than you would in a normal yoga class and learn about other therapies which might compliment your yoga practice. .

The theme for this our 9th retreat is around weight loss, diet and yoga. We'll go a little deeper into how yoga techniques, particularly the psychology of mindfulness, can help with improving your lifestyle and sense of well-being overall - not just your weight and body shape. This is about using yoga to help you make lasting changes which will benefit your overall health - no faddy diets or counting calories here!

Whether you're a complete beginner, have some experience, or you've been practising for years; you'll be supported to challenge yourself, whilst ensuring you listen to your body and don't strain or push too far. Run by two experienced yoga teachers - we want you to feel energised, provoke reflection and have fun!

No matter what your experience or current capability we want you to feel gently challenged, stimulated but not left out or behind! Carmen and I both passionately believe yoga is for EVERY body - this is NOT about gymnastics or allowing our egos to push too far which is far removed from the true spirit of yoga philosophy.
