Team Up with Fitz Fitness is a strength and conditioning class for participants 14 years and over with Down Syndrome or other Intellectual Disability (ID). Based in Fitz Fitness Ballincollig, this programme uses a buddy system to ensure one to one support. Each participant with ID turns up at the gym with a family member over 18 years and both enjoy a fun fitness workout, while the family member provides any necessary additional support. This is a fun workout to music with a relaxed and supportive atmosphere. Only the participant with ID payes, family member goes free.
