A class to cultivate a greater sense of awareness and a deeper sense of relaxation.

In this class, you'll remain seated for the most part. You'll be guided through some breathing exercises and other techniques to encourage stillness and relaxation of the body and mind, followed by a led meditation exercise.

A mindfulness practice can increase the ability to regulate emotions, decrease stress, anxiety and depression. It can also help us to focus our attention, as well as to observe our thoughts and feelings without judgment. Whilst physical exercise might be considered good body maintenance, a mindfulness practice is the equivalent for the brain.
