Course Description:
Welcome to our 6-week Aerial Yoga for Beginners course!
This course is designed for those new to aerial yoga, offering a supportive and nurturing environment to explore the foundations of this unique practice. Over six weeks, you'll learn to use a soft, fabric hammock to enhance traditional yoga postures, build strength, improve flexibility, and enjoy the sensation of weightlessness.
Each 60-minute class will guide you through a series of poses, stretches, and relaxation techniques, all while suspended just a few feet off the ground. By the end of the course, you'll gain confidence in the hammock, improve your body awareness, and experience the many physical and mental benefits of aerial yoga.
What to Wear:
For your comfort and safety during aerial yoga, please wear form-fitting clothing that covers your legs and armpits. This helps prevent fabric burns and provides better support in the hammock. Leggings, a fitted top, and a long-sleeve shirt are ideal. Avoid wearing any jewelry, zippers, or anything that could snag the hammock fabric.
We recommend practicing barefoot for better grip and stability. If you have long hair, please tie it back to avoid any tangling with the hammock.
