This Active Mum

We want to make fitness as accessible as possible and we know how hard this can be when you're on Maternity leave. Therefore, this course is part-funded by our sister non-profit Spark Community.

This Active Mum is a fun 5 week fitness course especially for mums. In this class, you won’t ’wear’ your baby but baby is still more than welcome to join you on the mat. (babies must be pre-crawling)! We’ll focus on strengthening your core and pelvic floor, building your activity levels gently with floor and static exercises so it's safe for you and baby. Please ensure that you have had your Dr sign off before attending any post natal fitness class. 
 

As with everything we offer at Spark, This Active Mum is suitable for you no matter what your fitness level or experience. Sessions are run by our pre/postnatal specialist, Katie and will be easily adapted to your needs post-pregnancy

Course starts Thursday 4th May and runs for 5 sessions. please note there will be no session on 1st June, but 5th session will be 8th June
