Yoga Nidra is a form of meditation which is deeply relaxing, healing and filled with the opportunity to connect with your inner self and the vision of your imagination. Yoga Nidra is a form of consciousness, where you will be taken on a guided meditative experience entering into a complete state of deep rest.

During this one hour session you will practice some gentle moving, a short Pranayama (breathing technique) before settling down to enjoy a delicious long Yoga Nidra.

We have yoga mats, blankets and eye pillow that you can use, but please feel free bring anything that will make you feel more comfortable including pillows, eye pillows, scarfs, heat packs, and extra blankets.

Your tutor Wendy was first introduced to Yoga Nidra in 2001 and since completing over 500 hours of Yoga Teacher Training has been using Yoga Nidra regularly in nearly all classes that she teaches. Wendy began to use Yoga Nidra more often (nearly daily), to help to ease anxiety between 2014 and 2017 and found the results to be remarkable, with a complete change in sleep patterns, mind set and a sense of ease that she was much in need of. Wendy continues to use Yoga Nidra frequently and feels a deep sense of pride to be able to offer these sessions on a monthly basis, to share this amazingly transformative practice.

No experience needed, open to all (over 16).
