The Maya Method: Pole
WHAT IS IT?
A 12-week program for newbies, designed to take you from complete novice who has never touched a pole before to pole lover!
Our pole programs are carefully designed to ensure you progress safely and effectively week on week, while working with our individual strengths and weaknesses. Although you will be starting as a group, the program consists of progressions and variations, because we're not all exactly the same, so why would our bodies move exactly the same way?
Programs are set out to up your confidence on the pole, while building strength, awareness and coordination, supporting body neutrality in an uplifting and welcoming social environment.
WHO'S IT FOR?
Programs are specifically designed for those with no prior experience of pole dance or aerial arts. No gym, yoga, or dance background is required. Start as you are!
Programs are also a great way to find your feet again if you have been on a long break and would like to dive back into the wonderful world of upside down!
WHY DO IT?
Pole and aerial arts are unlike any other fitness programs: uplifting (literally and figuratively), positive, encouraging, welcoming, individual, creative, strong, confident, empowering, fun, lighthearted, nourishing, challenging, tough, gritty, inclusive, non-competitive, GOOD FOR BODY, MIND AND SOUL!
Seriously though, body weight exercise such as pole and aerial is great for you if you'd like to overall feel a bit stronger, happier and more positive, sleep a bit better, be a bit nicer to yourself, meet some amazing new people, make time for yourself and carry the shopping without being so out of breath!

General
By booking onto any 12-week pole program or aerial arts program, you agree to The Momentum Method terms and conditions:
- programs are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable.
- if you opt out at any point during the 12 weeks while your program is underway, no monetary refunds are due.
- if you can't make one week - do not worry! You can book a catch up lesson! Just e-mail us with the time and date of an alternative beginner class you can make that week. Please do make use of these to get the maximum benefit of your 12 sessions if life gets in the way.
- if at any point in the course, you find yourself unsure with your progress, please take in the program emails you get sent over the 12 weeks to help keep you motivated and do reach out to us at any time if you feel yourself stuck in training <3.
Payment plan
By joining the Momentum Method on a payment plan to spread the cost, please ensure you have read and understood the payment plan Ts and Cs in full.
- if you opt out at any point during the 12 weeks while your program is underway all remaining instalments are still due until the full amount of £150 for one course, or £250 for two courses is settled.
- the payment plan is simply a way to spread the cost to help make programs more accessible.
- if at any point during your course(s), you are struggling with your payments, please reach out and we will help find a solution.
- if you miss a payment by 28 days or more, a late payment fee may be payable via the payment processor to cover late payment charges incurred via failed payment attempts.
Changed your mind mid-way through the course/can't make your allocated slot?
All cool and no probs. Just email us and we can transfer any remaining sessions into a lesson pack for you. This way, you can use any remaining sessions at your own convenience and register for any of our drop in classes, any day, any time!

For a small business like Maya Dance and Fitness, having terms and conditions in place is what helps us exist and not go under. Without a set of rules for us as the service provider and you as the client, we cannot offer our classes as neither party know where they stand. Ensuring we have clearly stated terms and conditions in place which you agree to, means we can be a professionally run and fair business that provides the best classes possible.
