Introduction to Resistance Training: Building Strong Foundations
If you want to do resistance training but don't know where to start, this workshop is for you!
This small group workshop will give you the knowledge and skills you need to get started with resistance training.
The 90 minute session will cover the following:
Introduction to a gym environment and logistics (eg, How to load weights and machines)
Foundations of technique
How to adapt exercises to suit you
How to structure a resistance exercise session
Following the workshop, you might feel confident to get started independently in a gym or at home.
Or if you would like more input, there will be options for follow-on small group workshops, personal training and bespoke programming to support you on your journey.
