Yin, Elements and Yoga Nidra online workshop with Amandine Babin

If you need to find some stillness or if you need a safe space to rest and feel yourself, join us for this lovely workshop :)

We will start with a short guided meditation and end with a delicious Yoga Nidra.

We will begin with a seated meditation in order to settle yourself down to prepare you for the Yin and Yoga Nidra practice to come. This part is a simple present moment awareness to turn your attention to your breathing, emotions, bodily sensations, sounds and thoughts. All you have to do is to witness and feel.

Yin will take you straight into your body with deep stretches held for a few minutes. A way to explore and feel your inner Self. Yin is a healing practice which guides you to contemplation on how you feel and brings rise to your centre. We will use the elements of Air, Earth, Fire and Water and their concepts to rebalance our entire Self and shift your perception about you and the outer world.

If you are looking for something beyond the physical postures, Yin is your answer.

Yoga Nidra means Yogic sleep and as Swami Satyananda says “In Yoga Nidra, the body sleeps, the mind rests, and the consciousness is active.” This ancient method relieves the mind/body of chronic tension, induces inner knowledge and… it’s a holiday for the mind!

You will be taken to a state between sleep and wakefulness in which our brainwaves work at different frequencies. It is in this state that deep relaxation occurs. We will offer a positive statement to our subconscious mind through sankalpa, a resolution to yourself chosen by yourself.
