Did you know that your long-term pain and emotional health are often highly linked?

Perhaps you have already realised that your pain can make you more emotionally charged in situations of sadness, frustration or anger. It makes sense, it takes a lot of your reserves to smile and get through the day when your body hurts so much, and for so long. Your pain is real, and your emotions are valid, but this is not a useful way to continue if you wish to approach each day with joy, energy and enthusiasm.

Your nervous system is always ready to respond to a danger or perceived threat, it is essential to survival and self-preservation. However, heightened threat perception, or an elevated stress response, will likely leave you in a continuous feedback loop of more pain, more perceived threat, more physical tension, more emotional holding habits, more pain...

What could a workshop that leads you to appreciate the immense power of being kind and gentle to yourself give you? What if it could also help you gain by sleeping soundly, improving mobility and finding greater levels of physical comfort in your body?

It is time to learn how to end this destructive cycle. Let me show you how.

In a place of support and safety we will look at using self-applied myofascial release techniques, along with accupressure points and breathing practices, to focus on pain reduction and allow you to feel lighter, softer and joyous again.
