Complementing our popular weekly Yin & Restorative Monday yoga class, Bermondsey Fayre and Ling have teamed up to offer a monthly 2hr Yin Yoga workshop. Whether or not you have a regular yoga practise - Yin yoga is an invaluable style of practise that will benefit everyone, especially those who are active in sports to those leading sedentary lives. The practise of Yin yoga allows you to soften and release deeply, yet safely the connective tissues, ligaments and fascia with poses held for 3- 5mins at a time. The practise of going in with Yin is an opportunity to develop deep awareness of body, mind and breath. And so Yin becomes a meditative practise. In these two hours, Ling will guide you through various Pranayama (breath) techniques that will support you where you are. As an advanced practitioner in Yin & Restorative yoga, and though this workshop focuses on Yin, there may be the occasional restorative posture offered by Ling as a way in meeting the needs of those attending workshop.

Each workshop will conclude with ~20mins of guided meditation which can be practised seated or lying-down.
