This membership gives the member access to unlimited kids classes at Veras Academy Strassen.
Veras Academy Strassen reserves the right to refuse or terminate membership or participation in any class or programme where considered appropriate. Please refer to our Membership Policies for further information.
Cancellations must be submitted through the member’s TeamUp account and are subject to the required 2-month notice period. If cancellation is not submitted correctly, membership payments will continue to be collected.
To ensure a safe and organised training environment, we kindly ask parents and guardians to keep drop-off and pick-up as brief as possible.
During drop-off, please take no more than 5 minutes to help your child get ready for training with their uniform, water and flip-flops.
As we do not have the capacity for all parents to remain with their children during training, we ask parents to leave the training area promptly once their child is ready. This helps us prevent overcrowding, reduce distractions and focus our attention on all children.
We understand that some children may initially find it difficult to separate from their parents. In our experience, children usually settle more quickly and become involved in the class once parents have left the training area.
For pick-up, parents and guardians should remain in the foyer area and wait for their child to be ready to leave. This helps us manage the transition from the gym to the parent safely and calmly.
Your cooperation is greatly appreciated and helps us maintain the quality and safety of every child’s training.

Terms and conditionsMEMBERSHIP TERMS & CONDITIONS
These Membership Terms & Conditions apply to all memberships purchased through the TeamUp platform and form part of the agreement between the member and Veras Academy Strassen.
1. MEMBERSHIP
Membership becomes active once registration has been completed and the applicable membership fee has been successfully paid.
Memberships are personal, non-transferable and, unless otherwise stated, non-refundable.
Certain memberships may exclude specific classes, seminars or special events.
2. PAYMENTS
Membership fees are billed according to the selected membership plan.
Payment details are securely processed and stored by TeamUp and its authorised payment providers.
Should a payment fail, Veras Academy Strassen reserves the right to:
* suspend membership until payment has been received;
* recover any bank or payment processing fees incurred;
* issue an invoice for any outstanding balance.
3. MEMBERSHIP CANCELLATION
Monthly memberships may be cancelled at any time, subject to a **2-month notice period**.
Cancellation requests must be submitted through the member's TeamUp account.
Membership fees remain payable throughout the notice period.
Cancelling a Direct Debit instruction with your bank does **not** constitute cancellation of your membership.
4. FIXED-TERM MEMBERSHIPS
Promotional or fixed-term memberships (including introductory offers) cannot be cancelled before the agreed end date unless required by applicable law.
5. MEMBERSHIP FREEZE
Membership freezes are available only in exceptional circumstances, including significant illness or injury that prevents participation.
Requests must:
* be submitted in writing;
* include a valid medical certificate;
* specify the expected period of absence.
Membership freezes:
* are granted at the discretion of Veras Academy Strassen;
* will not normally be approved for holidays, work commitments or minor illnesses;
* may not exceed **3 months**.
Membership payments will automatically resume once the freeze period ends unless otherwise agreed in writing.
6. ACADEMY RULES
Members agree to comply with all academy rules, including:
* following instructors' directions;
* respecting staff and fellow members;
* maintaining good hygiene;
* wearing the correct uniform;
* using academy equipment responsibly;
* training safely at all times.
7. MEMBER CONDUCT
The following behaviour may result in suspension or immediate termination of membership:
* bullying or harassment;
* discrimination;
* abusive or threatening behaviour;
* excessive foul language;
* deliberate attempts to injure another participant;
* repeated failure to follow instructors' directions;
* attending under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs;
* behaviour that negatively affects the safety or experience of other members.
8. LATE ARRIVALS
Members are encouraged to arrive before class begins.
Coaches may refuse entry to late arrivals where joining the class would compromise safety or disrupt instruction.
9. UNIFORM
Members must wear the official academy uniform where required.
For Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu:
* White Gi only.
* Official Veras Academy rashguard under the Gi.
* Official Veras Academy No-Gi rashguard and shorts for No-Gi classes.
The academy reserves the right to refuse participation where the uniform policy is not respected.
10. SEMINARS & SPECIAL EVENTS
Seminars, grading examinations and special events may require separate registration and payment.
Priority booking may be given to active members.
Unless otherwise stated, seminar fees are non-refundable.
11. CHILDREN'S CLASSES
Parents and guardians remain responsible for children before and after scheduled classes.
Parents should remain in the reception area during collection unless invited into the training area by a coach.
Parents are expected to support the coaching staff and avoid interrupting classes.
12. PERSONAL PROPERTY
Members remain responsible for their own belongings.
Veras Academy Strassen accepts no responsibility for lost, stolen or damaged property.
13. PHOTOGRAPHY & VIDEO
Photography and video recording by members during classes is only permitted with the approval of the coaching staff.
Official academy photography and video are governed by the Media Consent contained within the Liability Waiver.
14. HEALTH & SAFETY
Members must not attend training while suffering from a contagious illness or skin infection.
Any injury occurring during training should be reported immediately to a coach.
15. CHANGES TO TIMETABLES
Veras Academy Strassen reserves the right to modify:
* class schedules;
* instructors;
* training programmes;
* opening hours;
where reasonably necessary.
16. TERMINATION OF MEMBERSHIP
Veras Academy Strassen reserves the right to suspend or terminate any membership where these Terms & Conditions or Academy Policies are seriously or repeatedly breached.
Termination does not remove the member's obligation to pay any outstanding membership fees.
17. ACCEPTANCE
By purchasing or renewing a membership through TeamUp, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Membership Terms & Conditions, together with the Academy Policies and Liability Waiver.
