About the Session
The One Off Private Session is designed as an option to try out what it’s like to learn one on one. The session is tailored to your individual needs, goals and current abilities on the day. You may receive personalised movement recommendations and home practice to support your learning. While every effort will be made to support your progress, every person responds differently and no specific outcome can be guaranteed.
Booking Your Session
Please ensure the appointment time you choose is one you can commit to.
Your agreed appointment time will be reserved exclusively for you.
To arrange your appointment, please contact Castleford Yoga by email with your preferred date and time. While every effort will be made to accommodate your preferred appointment, availability cannot be guaranteed.
Available once per person. Ongoing private lessons are available through the 4-session private lesson pack or a regular weekly private lesson arrangement.
Duration of the Programme
Your One Off Private Session will take place at the agreed appointment time. It is your responsibility to attend your appointment as agreed.
Before Your First Session
Before attending your first appointment you must:
• Complete the Customer Form & Health Screening Form on TeamUp.
• Agree to the Waiver & Policy (Terms of Business & Participation) on TeamUP.
• Notify Castleford Yoga of any medical condition, injury, pregnancy or other circumstance that may affect your participation.
You agree to inform Castleford Yoga promptly of any changes to your health or circumstances that may affect your participation. Please update your TeamUp records where appropriate and notify us by email.
Please bring your own exercise mat and wear appropriate clothing suitable for movement.
Cancellation of Your Appointment
Once booked, One Off Private Sessions cannot be cancelled or rearranged by the customer.
If an emergency prevents you from attending, please let Castleford Yoga know as soon as possible. This allows us to manage the studio schedule and may avoid an unnecessary journey.
Late Arrival
If you arrive late, your session will still finish at the scheduled time so that later appointments are not affected.
If you are significantly late, Castleford Yoga reserves the right to shorten or cancel the session where it is no longer practical or safe to continue.
Rescheduling and Exceptional Circumstances
In exceptional circumstances, Castleford Yoga may, at its sole discretion, agree to rearrange a One Off Private Session outside the standard terms where it considers this fair and reasonable. Any agreed changes must be confirmed in writing and should not be considered an entitlement for future bookings.
Home Practice
During your session you may receive individual movement suggestions or exercises to practise. Any home practice is entirely optional and undertaken at your own discretion.
These recommendations are provided to support your progress and should always be carried out within your own comfort, physical capability and any advice provided by your healthcare professional.
If Castleford Yoga Needs to Cancel
If your teacher needs to cancel a private session due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, every effort will be made to rearrange your appointment at the earliest mutually convenient opportunity.
If a replacement appointment cannot be arranged within a reasonable period, Castleford Yoga will discuss a suitable alternative with you.
Occasionally another suitably qualified teacher may be offered if appropriate.
Refunds
Please ensure you are happy with your purchase before completing payment.
Once your purchase has been confirmed and your appointment schedule agreed, payments are non-refundable and unused sessions cannot be exchanged for cash. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Where exceptional circumstances arise, Castleford Yoga may, at its sole discretion, agree to transfer, extend or refund all or part of the booking if it considers this fair and reasonable.
Bookings are personal to the purchaser and cannot be transferred to another person. However, with the prior agreement of Castleford Yoga, you may invite another person to attend your private session with you where appropriate.

Castleford Yoga is committed to helping you get the most from your private session programme. Regular attendance and practising between sessions are likely to provide the greatest benefit, although progress will naturally vary from person to person.
