If you cancel, any special or promotional rates will be lost and are not guaranteed upon rejoining, except where standard public discounts apply. Membership holds are only permitted for medical reasons or prolonged absences of 30 days or more and must be requested in writing. You can create a child account, and they will be given free access, but you must also book them for classes as well.
