You can register for any session where there is an available space or set up recurring registrations to attend the same sessions each week. There is a 2.5 hour minimum cancellation period if you can no longer attend a session to free the space up for someone else. It takes time for a new routine to become habit and to create change. That's why we have a minimum of a three month commitment when you take out a membership with akarmalife studios. The membership may be cancelled at any time after the first three months with one month's notice. If cancellation is less than 28 days before the next payment is scheduled you will be billed and your membership will continue until the end of the following month. Terms and conditionsThis membership bills every month. The first payment is due on the membership's start date and is prorated according to the days remaining in the period. This membership entitles you (the membership holder) to up to 13 sessions per month in the Strength & Rehab Centre. This membership does not include a monthly PT session which is payable directly to your PT and which is a requirement to use the Centre. Your PT will advise you on the number of sessions you should do a week to get the most out of your programme.
This membership is non-transferable. This membership has a 3 billing cycle commitment and cannot be cancelled early. Following the first three payments, the membership may be cancelled at any time with one month's notice. If cancellation is less than 28 days before the next payment is scheduled you will be billed and your membership will continue until the end of the following month. Your payment details will be securely stored in our system for the duration of the membership.
There is a 2.5 hour minimum session cancellation policy to enable us to offer the space to people on the waiting list. Cancellations are made via the akaramlife booking system only (telephone, email and Facebook cancellations are not accepted). Failing to cancel a session you can no longer attend within this time period or a no-show results in losing that session credit. We feel that this is a fair policy and understand that unexpected things happen like family emergencies and getting stuck on trains.
Akarmalife studios reserves the right to suspend the membership holder's ability to book a recurring reservation in the event of repeated failure to cancel sessions and for no-shows.
Purchasing multiple memberships
Where a Member purchases multiple memberships (rather than upgrading or downgrading) we will credit the member's account minus an administration fee of £15. The credit can be used against workshops, courses or classes whilst they are still operating their membership. There will be no monetary refund. If a member decides to leave without the credits having been fully utilised the balance will be automatically zeroed and they will lose any remaining credit.
Upon the membership being re-activated their account will be set back to £0 and any classes will need paying for going foward as per our normal memberships Terms and Conditions.
Where a membership is suspended by us due to ill health, sickness or any other reason and they have credit we will make a discretionary decision on a case by case basis with regards to that credit.
Holiday periods
We reserve the right to amend the timetable and reduce the sessions that are on offer over holiday periods, including Bank Holidays, Easter, Christmas and New Year. No refunds will be offered. Sessions will be credited as per our normal procedures and any session credits need utilising within that calendar month.
Cusp of a month
Where a session is credited on the Cusp of a month, for whatever reason, the session credit will be lost and not carried forward into the following month.
Availability
Whenever the premises can not be opened due to holidays, sickness, health, family issues or emergencies we will credit back the cancelled sessions to the member's account to be used within that Calendar month.
Late cancellation of a session
In the event of emergencies where a session is cancelled at short notice we will credit the member's account to be used within that Calendar month.
