Coach Bios:Jo Christian fell in love with Acrobalance while training with Vulcana Circus in Australia in 2003. They’ve been practicing, playing, performing, and sharing the Acro-love through classes and workshops for all ages and abilities ever since!

For Colleen McKeown, partner acrobalance has felt like ‘coming home’ since she first began over 20 years ago. An alumni of the New England Center for Circus Arts and Wise Fool New Mexico, Colleen spent years performing and coaching alongside acro partner, Jo Christian. Today, she merges her technical expertise as an acrobat with the meticulous care and attention to detail of her practice as a pediatric registered nurse. She invites students to explore the limits of balance, trust, and flight in a brave space built on curiosity, safety, and the joy of shared movement.
